Moonpig

When Space City were approached to produce the first Moonpig TV advert back in 2006, no one had ever heard of personalised greetings cards, so we decided the ad had to take the viewer on a step-by-step journey through the process.

Our next challenge was the brand name, Moonpig, bearing no relation to the product.  The solution was to create a jingle and animated logo to aid memorability.
The jingle immediately caught the public imagination and enthusiasts were soon uploading their own versions to YouTube - the Moonpig jingle had become synonymous with the brand.
Space City went on to produce a further seven commercials for Moonpig who now send out more than 12 million greetings cards every year.  Earlier this year Nick Jenkins sold the company for £120 million!
