JOANNA Lumley landed at Space City HQ yesterday (1 December) as she delivered a typically beguiling voice over for Emerald Waterways.
The award-winning river cruise provider utilised the national treasure’s dulcet tones to perfection, ahead of their latest commercial with the UK’s number one provider of TV commercials.
70-year-old Joanna, who has recently returned from Japan after filming her latest documentary in the country, was in good spirits and took time to speak to cast and crew as she delivered her usual penchant with aplomb.
Having recorded her voice-over, the former Wolf of Wall Street star posed for pictures with Space City and Emerald Waterways staff, before departing its Hammersmith offices shortly after midday.
Emerald Waterways have been named one of the UK’s premium providers of cruises, having scored highly on all five of the appraising criteria: hardware, accommodation, cuisine, service and miscellaneous.
The advert featuring Joanna will be broadcast in January and fans will not be disappointed with her atypical faultless delivery.
Cruise line giants Emerald have returned to Space City for their latest commercial, having used the team during their last ad showcasing their scenic tours.
Space City has prided itself on brand loyalty as it has sought to develop brands organically using its continually developing armoury of software, most recent of which in the case of the Davinci grading has revolutionised cost-effective TV advertising.
The TV ad giants have also played host to some of the UK’s other treasured personalities on the way to delivering successful campaigns: the late Cilla Black, Carol Vorderman and now Joanna Lumley have graced the Space City studios, with the company celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2017.
Such longevity has ensured timeless credibility for the company that has delivered business growth to Jane Plan, growth Six times that of the previous year.
This has underlined the continued success of TV advertising with Space City as the Christmas ad season hits full swing.
